When we surrender our own will to His will, that's where we see the miracles happen. The bible says for us to speak our blessings into existence and to give God the glory for Who He is. I think sometimes we think we are only supposed to give Him glory for those things we've seen Him do when in reality we are to praise and glorify Him even in the struggles, the valleys, the dark places and in whatever state we may be in. Sometimes our state of mind seems to dictate when and what we feel God is worthy of but the truth is that He Is Worthy of it All. Therefore, we should glorify Him through it all no matter the circumstances. The power within us resides through our glorifying God for Who He Is not just for what we See Him doing. We can glorify Jesus by thanking Him for all He's doing, all He's done and all He's going to do but let's not forget to glorify Him by thanking Him for being Who He Is too!
"You are the Salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world...In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:13-16
