Reflecting God

It's not just our fingerprints that make each of us so unique!

For His own glory, God gives us different personalities, different gifts and different callings in life. His absolute creativity and vastness are reflected in each uniqueness of His creations.

As we fully allow our personalities and gifts to be redeemed, developed and used, we bring God glory in the greatest of ways. In doing so we reflect another aspect of His complexity, diversity and creativity as no other person has or ever will. That's the beauty of being designed solely for the Lord. He knows what will bring Him glory and He's equipped each of us with gifts, talents, personality and character traits that will bring Him the glory He desires and deserves.

There is only one You and He hand picked You to bring Him something He can't get from anyone else.

In Psalm 139 verses 13 & 14 this is carefully illustrated..

"You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made".

There is no one else like you!

And when our gifts are being used, we are complimenting one another not just for the purpose of doing good works, but also for the purpose of illuminating the bigger picture the world sees of who God is... a magnificent and vast creator.

It's important to remember that although we are each individually designed, we are designed to fit together as one body of Christ. Meaning, each uniqueness we have is specifically designed to connect to another's unique design within the body of Christ. Therefore, we should ask God to reveal to us the tasks which He has placed within us to accomplish and then use the abilities He has given in order to begin and complete those tasks together with our brothers and sisters who are in Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12, 18-20; tells us..

"For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ...God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?...Indeed there are many members, yet one body".

In closing.. we all are individual members with a beautiful design of being fearfully and wonderfully made by the vast Creator of All whether great or small. Not one of us is more special to our loving Father than any other.

We each have a unique make up that sets us apart from each other but when working together we create a beautiful picture that brings God glory and it's for all to see so that they in turn can bring Him glory through our example as one body in Christ.

***Life is a chain reaction of events. What we choose in one moment not only affects our next moment but it will also affect another's next moment. Practice building each other up and helping others develop their gifts and watch what God will do when we all come together to bring Him glory!
